Visit of the Resguardo Cañamomo Lomaprieta, October 18-20, 2018
Within the framework of the Regional Meeting of Indigenous Peoples in Latin America of CICADA and the TICCA Consortium, a special visit to the community of Portachuelo, located in the Cañamomo Lomaprieta Indigenous Reserve of Riosucio, Caldas, Colombia, was also organized prior to this main event. With the help and support of Héctor Jaime Vinasco, project coordinator of the Cañamomo Lomaprieta Resguardo, the participants of the visit were able to familiarize themselves with the territory, the traditions, and the current problems that the community faces today.
