2016 Meeting

CICADA Meeting, August 28 – September 1, 2016

Meeting Schedule

The August 2016 CICADA meeting took place at the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations in Wendake (Loretteville), on the northern outskirts of Quebec City. This is a beautiful facility owned and operated by the Huron-Wendat First Nation.

The purpose of this important working meeting was twofold:

  1. For the CICADA research board of regional representatives, thematic axis leaders, and participating project and program directors to plan our grant application to FRQSC (due in October), as well research goals and activities in general;
  2. To hear presentations and integrate the research priorities of new CICADA indigenous partner representatives and researchers, and of some existing partners who were unable to attend our conference in October 2015.
